Hi all In june this year i rescued a 1967 mgb roadster that had been sitting in a garage since 1990. As you can imagine it was in a pretty bad state.. and still is.My plan is to put this car back on the road hopefully around september 2011. My project is now under way. I am new to this forum and plan to attend the next meeting...Any help ideas pointers etc wil be much appreciated. Many thanks Ian

Hello Ian and welcome to the forum. Look forward to seeing you at the next meeting on the 6th. Jack currently has three restorations on the go, so will be able to answer most of your questions. Make sure you take lots of photos to track your progress. See you on Monday.

Hi Ian,
You are not the first, and its not that bad really (err a rebuild build or the club).. A few of us still get out hands dirty.
There is one tip I can pass on: Don't be afraid to be cut metal out. Going back to really good metal makes it alot easiler to weld back togeather!!
